Located in the Altos de Trancoso gated community, the starting point for this summer house was an in-depth study of wind direction and solar incidence in the region. This research shaped the layout and spatial organization of the home, ensuring the optimal use of natural resources and providing thermal comfort throughout. The landscaping further supports this approach, allowing the house to open up to natural light while maintaining privacy from neighboring properties. As a complementary strategy, photovoltaic panels were incorporated to enhance the home's energy efficiency.

Implanted in a residential condominium, this residence was designed as a vacation home for a family, with the possibility of seasonal rentals. The choice of materials enhances the natural and cultural characteristics of the region, using wood, a tile roof, rustic plaster, burnt cement, and eucalyptus pergolas, providing identity and integration with the surroundings.

The land, located in a residential condominium in southern Bahia, in Trancoso, has a flat topography and access marked by a dense set of native trees, such as rubber trees and ingá trees. In the background, the lot opens up to a green common area of the condominium, ensuring a free and permanent view of the vegetation.

Located on the south coast of Bahia, in Trancoso, just 700 meters from the beach and 4.5 km from the famous Quadrado, an old fishing village and now full of shops and restaurants, the GS house was designed as a haven of tranquility and replenishment. of energy for a couple from São Paulo. Sculpted by the lagging and constant action of Bahia's waters, Trancoso’s sea scarps stand before alluring beaches and their vivid colors. Vista House lays on top of one of them; a 46 meters high cliff. From a bird’s perspective, the elongated volume aims to frame the landscape like a wide-angle camera.

In our first incursion in Trancoso, Bahia, in the northeast region of Brazil, we projected the interior design of a 330 m² house designed by Studio OR + K for seasonal rent. Having that in mind, it was necessary to keep certain neutrality, but without giving up the rustic and chic atmosphere that is so striking in Quadrado, the main tourist spot in the village, where the house is located - and where it stands out for its white facade amidst the other colorful houses around it.

The land of 1500 m2, despite not overlooking the sea, has his back facing a wonderful golf course. The beach house project should distribute an extensive program in the narrow and long terrain, with many limits of retreats for being a corner lot, privileging the quality of outdoor living.
