The house was to be adapted for small and medium-sized events with the delicacy and personality of our projects. The proposal was to enhance the existing, bringing delicacy and romance to the ensemble. The new and the old should integrate with a tension that translates into contemporaneity. The enhancement of the existing happened in the main house, in the outhouse, which was destroyed, and in a large abandoned backyard with centuries-old trees. Delicate colors like closed beige and antique pink were chosen to be composed with natural materials such as wood, brick, and hydraulic tiles made in the same color palette.

This house turns itself to the inside, in a way it is instrospective, a feature that comes from the place's specific constraints - the linear conformation of the lot, 5x35m, and its neighbour's tall lateral walls. Because of this, views to the exterior are scarce. With the exception of the front bedroom, all environments turn to the coutryards - the indoor and the outdoor.

The project consists of a major renovation. The old house, a typical construction of the neighborhood, with clay tile roof and "L" shape was located on the correct site of the plot facing the best sun and views. It’s exterior and interiors were completely renovated. All finishing’s and materials have been exchanged, and new distribution and partitions were made on the plan. Windows and openings were also changed
