The JR House is conceived as an essential dwelling. Here, architecture is constructed from matter, light, and time. Rather than seeking to produce an autonomous object, the project aims to configure a series of atmospheres that accompany daily life with calmness and depth.

In the initial meetings, it was decided to prioritize a qualitative program over a quantitative one, emphasizing air, void, light, space, and views rather than focusing on the distribution of uses and the classification of the program.

The 3X3 house is located on a lot between party walls in the lower part of San Isidro, its front has a south-southeast orientation, so the best sunlight conditions are at the back. Two other factors determine the position of the house, on the one hand, the flood level of the site forces it to rise one meter twenty above street level, on the other hand, the need to distance itself from the pedestrian path to guarantee a certain degree of privacy.

The land in front of the Bajo de San Isidro Ecological Reserve presents unique pre-existing conditions. A swimming pool, a product of being a subdivided portion of a larger lot, several old trees, including an olive tree, and the fact that it is one of the few places where the turtles that inhabit the reserve cross the road to spawn periodically. These factors, added to the lush presence of the reserve itself, provided the opportunity to formulate a project integrated with the surrounding ecosystem in multiple dimensions.

The property is part of a group of 8 houses that crosses the block, consolidating a passage that connects Alsina and Laprida streets. The project, which was commissioned by a professional couple, begins with the intervention of a condominium house, with the main objective of incorporating the home office modality in coexistence with the upbringing of their two children.

The Petroperú building, jointly designed by architects Walter Weberhofer and Daniel Arana Ríos, was the result of a state competition held by the military government of Velasco Alvarado in the early 1970s. The building, strategically located in the capital of Peru, within the prosperous district of San Isidro, was designed to house the recently created state company in charge of the whole petroleum process of the country (Petroperú S.A.). The monumental building, built and inaugurated in 1973, became the symbol of the newly installed regime.

MOO House is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The house preserves the historical feature of an object left in time, almost nostalgic. Its pure, clean and timeless form emerges above a new limit, constituted by the gate that separates the house from the street. This limit seeks the dialogue between the historical and the current, light and the heavy, real and the conceptual, white and brown, the interior and the exterior.
