Removing almost all the walls and doors from an apartment would be foolish, unacceptable, or simply absurd for most people. It would mean losing the opportunity to close off and cut off from the outside world, at least for a while. Work, sleep, food preparation, hygiene, or leisure – these are basic human activities for which separate spaces are traditionally reserved in apartments. We adapt them so that these activities take place as efficiently and comfortably as possible. The specific solution is based on the characteristics of the human body, ergonomics, the need for light and fresh air, as well as individual personal preferences.

The primary objective was to adapt the layout to the needs of a young family while preserving and enhancing the inherent qualities of the original interior.
Project Mexická was initiated by the Together gastro alliance. Its co-owner, David Petřík, considers Asia, Italy, and Mexico to be the biggest players on the world gastronomic scene, so adding Mexico to their portfolio was only a matter of time. The investor's brief was to create a monumental space in Prague offering not only Central American cuisine, but also an experience of its culture as such. From the beginning, the main idea was to mix an open kitchen, large wood-fired ovens, and a noisy Mexican hacienda. Mexická was to become Together's largest venture.

Our environment significantly impacts our quality of life, and this is even more true for the spaces where we learn. Students at the Czech-English Montessori Elementary School Duhovka have now gained an improved learning environment with the expansion of a middle school and the enhancement of the service standards and comfort for students and staff. Throughout the project, functionality, and quality of space were key considerations. The Montessori approach to education is based on the philosophy: "Help me do it myself," which encourages children's autonomy in the learning process. To fulfill this philosophy, a stimulating environment that meets children's mental developmental needs during their sensitive periods is essential. However, this also places higher demands on space and its use.

From 1977 to 1983, the National Theatre in Prague underwent a major transformation with the opening of Nová Scéna, a modern counterpart to the traditional Neo-Renaissance theatre. For many years, Nová Scéna hosted the renowned Laterna Magika, the world’s first multimedia theatre. This groundbreaking performance style combined classical theatre with computer-generated visual effects, creating a unique dramatic experience. The striking glass building, a symbol of the communist era, became an iconic representation of the political power of the time. In recognition of its significance, this building was part of the Open House Prague festival in 2024—an annual event that invites the public to explore and appreciate the value of architecture.

As the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is home to over 1.3 million people and features an architectural heritage spanning centuries, covering a variety of architectural styles from Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo, to Modernist, Deconstructivism, and contemporary tendencies.
Clients for whom the garden pavilion is designed own a large mature garden in the middle of the city, which is also just a ten-minute walk from their apartment. When the clients are in their garden, they try to spend as much time outdoors as possible and come to us with a specific and perhaps slightly paradoxical task. They wanted a new structure on the site of the original dilapidated cottage, but at the same time, they didn't want to close off the garden. The building was supposed to offer only modest space, primarily in adverse weather, and allow for occasional overnight stays in the summer months. An additional function for the winter season was to provide a space for storing plants, somewhat resembling a winter garden.

The Masaryčka building in Prague is defined by circulation routes which will provide access to new civic spaces for the city. Accommodating the continued growth of the city’s corporate sector with office spaces designed to meet 21st-century working patterns, the 28,000 sq. m Masaryčka office and retail development incorporates seven storeys within its eastern section and nine storeys at its western end. Integrating with Czech Railways’ modernisation of the historic Masaryk Railway Station is creating a new public square partially over the railway tracks, Masaryčka’s design will enhance accessibility to the railway platforms below and provide new pedestrian routes between Florenc and Hybernská on either side of the station.

The land is located in the original part of the village of Dvorce in Prague Podolí. It is a remarkable plot on the edge of a residential area with views of the opposite bank of the Vltava River and the Church of St. Philip and Jacob in Zlíchov. The family of the current owner has lived on this site for several generations. The task was to convert a worn-out family house from the 1960s into a comfortable residential villa for individual living of a high standard.

The author of the unique set of residential villas in Prague Vinohrady from 1925 is architect Rudolf Kvech. The houses were built following the construction of the State Health Institute and provided apartments for its employees. Due to the timeless qualities of the original design, we keep the basic mass and layout of the house, including its use - housing. The distinctive feature of the house is the division into three basic parts - a plinth from brick masonry with cellars, a plastered part with flats, and a high-hipped roof with clay tiles.

After winning the international competition for the design of the Vltava Philharmonic Hall in May 2022, Danish studio BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group has now developed the design into a detailed architectural study. The project continues the central concept of the competition, that of connecting the riverbank with the venue’s rooftop via a meandering path that expands the public space and invites visitors to engage with the new building. Construction is expected to start in 2027, after completing the project documentation for the building permit and selecting a contractor. The Philharmonic Hall is expected to open in 2032.

This is a home for a young family of four with a great affinity for sports and art located in the suburbs of Prague. The terrain of this property slopes slightly away from the driveway, allowing us to locate the parking on the roof of this one-story home, which leaves the main part of the house not visible from the outside except for a volume of the garage.
