Set amidst a small valley of vineyards, Texturised House by Bongiana Architetture is a carefully measured extension of a modest rural building. A contemporary retreat designed to host family celebrations and intimate gatherings, where architecture shapes atmosphere through light and raw materiality. The project is grounded in the principle of raw purity: rough surfaces, exposed materials, and details reduced to their essence. Each wall and floor is the result of a specific interpretation, turning every surface into a visual and tactile narrative. The structure reveals its own body with pride, in a play of textures that multiplies spatial perception.

Architects have long recognized the importance of rediscovering and enhancing vernacular architecture, which is a vital part of national heritage. After a series of field explorations, Giuseppe Pagano referred to this as "rural architecture" to differentiate it from modern architecture. Pagano meticulously photographed and analyzed these rural structures, revealing a place's cultural traditions and the fragility of its spontaneous structures.

Mosca.Bianca is a workshop designed as an exhibition space. A ceramic workshop where a single sculptural gesture portrays the entire process of terracotta crafting. The form is shaped like clay on the potter's wheel, molded twisting from the ceiling. The space is tensed by the centripetal force of the design gesture, concentrating the atmosphere around a single zenithal light. Like a sacral element, perfectly aligning with the lamp that pierces the stereotomic shape above, a seemingly monolithic exhibit altar diagonally stands out in the space.

House FC is located in a residential area protected from vehicular traffic. Its concept derives from a composition of compact volumes that discard and overlap to establish specific relationships with the surrounding context. The base presents a dark aluminum facing, the modularity of which originates all the openings. North it encloses the service spaces, appearing closed and impenetrable. On the other hand, the bright living room opens southward, with large windows facing the grassy garden.

The particularity of the area suggested a building intervention that re-proposes, in the current interpretation, a residential building that can be traced back to an architecture that respects the surrounding natural environment and with references to traditional forms and building techniques. The intention behind the project was therefore to create a discreet architectural volume, developed on a single level, that dialogues with the surrounding rural landscape and can find a discreet and proportionate insertion.

In a quiet residential neighbour in Padua, this house consists of two cubic volumes mounted on a concrete basement. The cubes above ground are made entirely of wood, covered with wood (grey/white and brick red) as well. The two houses have similar plants and are symmetric according to the horizontal and vertical axes. A unique flat vegetal roof covers both houses and is projected to the north and south in two large porches. A portico in between the cubes divides the two houses and is a sort of private alley. There is no parking at the garden level. Cars are parked in the basement with a car lift. Particular attention has been paid to the windows: the wooden frame is in fact only visible from the inside while outside is covered by a glass skin.

It is located in a quiet and private street in the heart of the Navigli’s area, and it has taken the place of the historical Karaoke CantaMilano. The architectural project aimed to bring the room to its original state with the incorporation of new furniture elements produced internally with recycled materials. The kitchen is the soul of the project and reveals the preparation of the food plates to the clients thanks to a slit window that can be quickly glanced while entering the domain. The construction itself was carried on by the convicts of the Penitentiary Institute of Bollate (Istituto Penitenziario di Bollate), that were able to benefit from the 21st Article taking a place within the construction site. Subsequently to this important experience, the restaurant will continue to make efforts to reintegrate professionally these underprivileged categories.
