According to several recent studies, <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41370-024-00642-5?utm_medium=website&amp;utm_source=archdaily.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noise in cities has become an increasing hazard to health</a>. <a href="https://www.who.int/europe/news/item/04-08-2024-how-much-does-environmental-noise-affect-our-health--who-updates-methods-to-assess-health-risks?utm_medium=website&amp;utm_source=archdaily.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Environmental noise</a>, that is, noise from traffic, industrial activities, or amplified music, which reaches internal spaces, is not merely an annoyance. It has been linked to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, dementia, and mental health issues. As <a href="https://www.un.org/uk/desa/68-world-population-projected-live-urban-areas-2050-says-un?utm_medium=website&amp;utm_source=archdaily.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the world urbanizes</a>, more people are exposed to excessive levels of noise. In medium- and high-density housing, in office buildings, and in schools, noise pollution can emanate from internal as well as external sources.</p>]]>

Transforming yet again the space of the Deposito Hall at <a href="https://www.archdaily.com/628472/fondazione-prada-oma">Foundation Prada</a> in <a href="/tag/milano">Milano</a>, the designers have chosen to create a contrasting image of seemingly opposite elements: rows of office chairs illuminated by the white glow of LED lights, standing over a pastoral landscape with meandering creaks and ample foliage. The design aims to highlight this separation between natural instincts and the typical environment of modern life.</p>]]>

Due to the need to optimize operations, Crystal Martin Vietnam wanted to renovate the top floor of the factory building into a new office and entrusted this challenging interior design project to D&amp;P.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p><strong>Small Office in Minami Aoyama. </strong>This is a project for a small office for a tech start-up company located in a quiet area of Minami Aoyama, Tokyo. Since the total plan was decided in the early stage, I was supposed to design the interior of the president’s room, however, I thought that the relationship of each room would improve the quality of the whole office, so I replanned to design the whole interior design of the office. Therefore, it was premised on a proposal that the cost would not increase significantly from the original general specifications. In this situation, it was needed to provide a president’s office, a meeting room that doubles as a place for several employees to work, and a seminar room for engineer training for other companies.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Zhibai Design Research Office intends to create a comfortable office space, and use the tonality of space to reflect the design idea of “Knowledge White”. White is nothing, white is white, white is empty. Just as Richard Meyer understands white, white is a symbol of purity, transparency, and perfection. White is rich, contains all colors, can best enjoy the performance of light and shadow, and express the spatial structure more clearly. In the original 8.5M*8.5M building standard column spanning unit modulus space, the basic geometry of the block insertion and cutting method is divided to form different functional areas and accommodate multiple functions in a small space block. Different spatial styles create different spatial feelings, satisfying the use of space and also integrating brand meaning.</p>]]>
