Ramand Mixed-Use building / White Cube Atelier

Ramand is, before being a project, a decision—a decision about how a cube can stand on a dual-cornered site without compromising its own geometry and without disregarding the city. The wooden volume is a controlled rotation, neither a formal gesture nor an exaggeration; merely the minimal deviation required for the form to settle into the site. Its geometry does not impose itself on the city, but aligns with it. The wooden skin is not an emotional choice, but a means to soften the hard cube. In a site surrounded by schools, the wood transforms potential seriousness into a conversational tone, aware of the daily gaze of children building their spatial memory.

Abra Garden House is located in a non-urban arena in the Maku Free Zone. The project site in the highlands of Qarah Khach, with a mysterious landscape and pristine nature, calls for people to stay away from the city and the uproar, to pass the rapid rhythm of life, and to rest for an hour in the fog and cloud.

5*5*5 Garden House was designed and built in Gajut tourist area located in Mako. The main challenge of the project was the least gross area of 25 square meters due to being in the garden and agricultural land. The penetration of nature into the living space, close relationships, and inside-outside interaction, and creating a sense of introversion and extroversion simultaneously were the topics we were looking for. These issues led to the simplest, clearest, and most regular approach to design.

Araam Villa is tranquilized in Qare khach village context on southern heights of Maku – a city in northwestern Iran near the Turkish border that has long been familiar with modern values due to its border proximity and the presence of migrant minorities. Moreover, the climate of this region is different from the plateau of Iran, it is full of water and has green pastures.

Ham-Sayeye-Park Apartment / White Cube Atelier

Ham-sayeye-park is designed and built in border city of Maku. This building as a substitution for the client’s previous house, is located in a 22*9 sqm property next to a small park. In fact the project is the neighbour of the quarter park.building - park interaction and relation between them was the first challenge of design. This interaction resulted in diverse balconies opening to the park. In turn the park benefits the shadow of the building at sunsets, so children can play comfortably in the park which is avid of dense greenery.

Parnian house is designed and built for a family of 4 in border city of Maku. The property had the potential to benefit daylight from south and north and great views over Mount Ararat as well as southern heights. Formation of the concept was the result of a challenge between the client and the architects; The commission was to create a distinctive family house and to consider meeting spatial requirements in one level in contrast with popularity of duplex houses in this district.

Moving through Gajot tourism area in Maku, West Azarbayjan, a white building is seen devoid of any ornament, settled in a green context and embracing a wooden cube kindly… An introvert construction as well as being extrovert; introversion comes from its look toward inner spaces while being illusive for the viewer and extroversion is felt when inviting the viewer to the interior space through a platform.
