Founded as a practice working across architecture and community-focused projects, pk_iNCEPTiON is based in Maharashtra, India. The studio, one of the winners of the ArchDaily 2025 Next Practices Awards, works on rural schools, houses, libraries, and public buildings, with a focus on spatial organization and adaptability. Operating across varied social and climatic contexts, pk_iNCEPTiON approaches design through careful attention to movement, scale, and the relationship between built form and open space.

Eutierria Wellness Centre / Urban Circle

The clients' requirement was to create a Wellness Centre at Oleander Farms, Karjat, Maharashtra, that would be a tranquil sanctuary for their visitors. Walking through a dense canopy of trees, hearing the soft chirping of birds, we slowly embarked on an expanse of a 2-acre land that was both open yet heavily tree laden. This abundance of nature was what we chose to highlight in the project, reinvigorating the design philosophy of Urban Circle - of creating built environments that seamlessly interperse with the surrounding environs.

Tucked in off the gravel road leading to the village of Satirje, the main house forms the fourth wall of an intimate motor court protecting the pool and garden beyond. Spread across a one acre plot, the house is a scattered collection of simple forms each carefully placed, proportioned, and oriented in response to picturesque views of the introverted garden and the distant hills of Kankeshwar.
