Designing homes in tropical climates is often associated primarily with responding to intense sunlight and high temperatures. However, an equally important aspect is the region's high humidity. Excessive humidity can significantly affect everyday living. While people are generally able to tolerate high temperatures, they tend to feel uncomfortable when the surrounding air is humid, creating a sense of stuffiness and leaving the skin feeling damp and sticky. Beyond occupant comfort, humidity also affects the durability of a building. Moist environments accelerate material deterioration and encourage the growth of mold, ultimately reducing the building's overall quality and lifespan.

An existing house is repurposed into a new communal home for Houm Yoga and Houm Coffee. The project begins with a simple approach: working with what is already there while introducing only the necessary interventions. Rather than fully transforming the building, the design focuses on balancing control and restraint—deciding which elements require careful redefinition and which can remain untouched. In this process, the architecture accepts the existing structure as it is, allowing the new program to settle naturally within it.

Located only 200 meters from Ayodya Park, a green public space in the neighbourhood, Nagomi Suites applied the concept of continuous greenery into the building from the park. Consisting of 6–story, the greenery concept also been done vertically by giving each story layers of the garden, so every room units are having a view of the private garden.
