Hwadam Forest is a barrier-free artificial forest created to restore Korean forests. On the opposite side of the forest, at the foot of the mountain, is an art gallery called Hwadamchae. 'seed green' is a bakery cafe designed to function as a "pavilion" between the two spaces.

We built ‘Villa Lento’ here, the lyrical place where people who really glorify art and nature are able to recover a slow and peaceful stream of time.

The biggest feature of church architecture that differs from that of other uses is that the owner of the church is the "many". Among the countless demands, what position should the architect take? Full approval was unfeasible. The architect should respect the client's opinions but inform them that there is a better direction. It should be said that not only functions, fiances, but also that it can maintain a noble dignity and consideration for its neighbors. Communication and Persuasion are also skills for architects. Sometimes architects need firmness, sometimes need tenderness. Taejeon Beautiful Church is located in a corner of the new city.

‘Wuju Jae, je’ which means a house with plentifulness, was built for a couple in their 50s and three children. Both of the couple spent their childhood in the countryside, went up to Seoul with their marriage, and have lived in several apartments constantly for more than 30 years. It is said that living in a midtown apartment is comfortable, but they have felt stuffy and decided to spend latter half of their life with nature as their retirement age is drawing near. They looked around for a site at Gwangju, near from downtown, in order that the couple and their children could commute, and eventually they found out the sunny, snug and warm site with clean air in well-arranged village near the forest, for this house. Then they visited the designer. Satisfied with the designer’s previous projects such as San Soo Eun and W+House, they shared their ideas with the designer.

The site is located at Gwangju Si, Gyeonggi-Do, where is not so far from Bundang new town. Surrounded by small houses, it is at the top of a hill with deep slope. First thing to consider is to keep woods on west side of the site. Available area of the site is limited by the woods. Facing a view of mountains on south side, the building is located.
