The design for the house for a brother, a young couple with three small children, was very clear and aligned with the expectations for homes in this type of private neighborhood. The layout proposed a clear distinction between three zones within the house, each with a specific purpose.

“The House of the 7 Courtyards” is located on a large plot of land, in front of the runway of the Rosario airport and the railway tracks. Both pre-existing elements present a strong horizontality as elements of the environment and it was a decision to enhance them in the project through the visuals, and also, as a starting point for the implementation of the house extended across the width of the lot.

The project responds to the program of a single-family home located in a gated community in the city of Funes. The lot has the particularity of having a large north-facing front. Faced with the dilemma of losing the beneficial quality of this orientation or losing privacy, it was decided to create a new intermediate space. It was decided to set back the ground floor, allowing for a courtyard at the entrance so that north-facing windows could be taken advantage of, but without losing privacy.

A House in a suburban garden. The housing plan is structured in order to take advantage of the best orientations in a 20 x 50-meter lot within a private neighborhood of the city of Funes. With the intention of having a more direct north, since the first 20 meters of the neighboring lot is blocked by the adjoining house, it was decided to solve the requested program for the house using the social areas as the main structure of the ground floor that It develops towards the back of the land and the private areas on the upper floor.

Casa AR arises as a need for a resting place for weekends for the owner and her family visits. It is located in a new building area of low density next to the city of Funes, in the metropolitan area of Rosario. On a corner lot of 18m x 30m, with the long side facing north, the house is located at the back, consolidating a kind of built partition, with a blind facade to the south and permeable facade to the north. Due to the request for an enclosed program consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, living room with an integrated kitchen, gallery and a small warehouse, but with the possibility of future growth and a reduced budget, it is decided to opt for a compact project that optimizes the materials and economic resources to the maximum.
