The house is divided into two pieces – a solid sleeping volume and an open living pavilion – connected by a glass entry hall. A walled lawn, patio, screened porch, and south-facing deck surround the living pavilion on three sides, forming a network of private outdoor spaces overlooking the forest and pond.
