The most important aspect of our design concept has been the preservation and passing on of inherited values for future generations. A symbolic building of Budapest has been reborn; the geometric center of Puskás Aréna exactly coincides with that of the old, demolished Népstadion (People's Stadium, built in 1948-1953). This is the largest and most up-to-date multifunctional arena in Central Europe, which meets all the requirements for a 21st-century venue, nevertheless preserving the important characteristics of the iconic old building that Hungarians loved. Puskás Aréna was awarded Stadium of the Year in 2019 by the Stadium Database public voting.

The project involves the renovation and extension of the Sipeki Balás Villa, designed by Hungarian architect Ödön Lechner between 1905 and 1907, with the addition of a new service building. The Hungarian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted inherited the property from the villa's original owner and has been using the house for nearly a century. The headquarters of the association is located in the villa, while the services are on the ground floor of the new extension, which also houses a 300-person event hall on the upper level.

The design outlines a 15-year scheme to transform a brownfield site long regarded as the city's "rust belt," located on the eastern side of the Hungarian capital. The regeneration plan includes over 10,000 apartments, new transportation links, and commercial and civic spaces, forming a comprehensive urban redevelopment strategy aligned with 15-minute city principles.

While preserving the existing prefabricated two-story kindergarten building from the 1980s, this modernization and expansion have given the kindergarten a new and integral identity. The rooms were expanded towards the original courtyard, and a covered, wooden outdoor playground was added in the front. The building opens up under the new roof's outline to compensate for the shut and rigid environment of the prefabricated panel blocks.

When architects are still students, a moment often marks a turning point: their first encounter with software. It's not just about learning a tool but discovering a space where ideas transcend physical models, taking shape in a digital environment and beginning a relationship many will carry throughout their careers. What happens next? Software keeps evolving, and with it, the design experience. In recent years, this evolution has accelerated—machine learning, AI, prompts, and integrated workflows have moved from the periphery to the core of design practice, becoming part of the shared language between software and users.
Budapest Corvinus University, Hungary's oldest institution dedicated to economics, is located on the Pest side of Budapest in beautiful 19th-century buildings. The university had long aspired to expand with a modern building, but this wasn't feasible within the dense urban fabric of Pest. Finally, the former State Administration College on the opposite bank of the Danube, within easy walking distance, was selected for redevelopment. Recycling the existing structure allowed the building to be constructed economically, sustainably, and in a forward-thinking spirit, resulting in one of the country's most advanced university buildings.

The campus of the Budapest Business University is located in a residential and educational area of Budapest, characterized by housing blocks and a suburban layout. The majority of the residential and educational buildings in this area were built post-war, and are distributed within an intensive green space reminiscent of an urban park, which lends this mixed-use environment a distinct atmosphere.

Sol omnibus lucet - The Sun shines for all. Semmelweis University is a leading institution of higher education in Hungary and the Central European region within the area of medicine and health sciences. In 2016 the Faculty of Health Sciences launched a design competition for an extension to a locally listed educational building dated from the early 1900s. The aim was to create seminar rooms, demonstration rooms, and 2 large lecture halls. The open competition was won by Studio Fragment. The site stretches between two streets in the so-called „palace quarter” of Budapest. The neighborhood contains palatial maisons, as well as important cultural and educational institutions mainly built in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The House of Hungarian Music, in the heart of the City Park of Budapest, is not only a museum but a larger vision encompassing past and future, people and culture, nature, and the sciences of music. It is not about displaying but inviting in, going away from simple contemplation to suggest participation and interactions. The essence of sound and music, hearing, can be brought in much deeper ways. Away from the conventional exhibition spaces, classrooms, or event halls, we chose to let architecture cradle the visitors along their way. With no clear path, pedestrians meander around the museum, as they would do around the park, invading the space like a continuous flow whose intensity varies along with the days, just as sound permeates space, bouncing around surfaces, running along the walls.
