The house we designed for a young couple, the husband lives and works in the lowlands in the Northwest mountains, he always cherishes a house like in his childhood he lived with his parents, where level 4 houses were hidden under the green trees. So when he searched for land to build his own house, he wanted it to have lots of trees. By chance, he found an area of land that seemed to exceed his expectations, large land with many big trees bearing the stamp of the time, located on a gentle hillside with small rocky outcrops on the ground. On this land, he wished to have a simple house, bearing the tradition of the old northern house, but still exuding the breath of the northwest mountains.

This project is a residential renovation project located in Tangerang Indonesia which has a tropical climate and is quite hot and humid. The existing building cannot meet the client's needs both in terms of space programs and in terms of design desires. Seeing this, we created a design by combining the needs of the occupants and the building itself, where the front of the building directly faces west so that the rooms in the front area have a hot air temperature until the evening. Therefore we added a layer on the facade of the building which aims to filter the light that enters the house. Because the name of the occupant is DJ, we also make the analogy of making the shape of the building as if it were two separate parts between the right and left sides like a turntable.

Singleness in an open site - Naegok-dong House (N House) is one of the few single-family housing sites that belong to public housing district developed by SEOUL LAND & HOUSING CORPORATION (SH). The site overlooking a large-scale apartment complex, where the road to the village and the road leading to the entrance of the large-scale apartment complex meet, is too public for a single-family house to be located in an urban context. Securing the singleness of a single-family home under these site conditions became a critical starting point for this project.

This project aimed to design a house for a family of four in Najafabad. The family's interest in having open space with lush gardens, along with the historical pattern of houses in Najafabad's garden city, made the main decision of this project: to give all spaces the great advantage of having a yard in the middle. In addition to the middle yard, there is another yard on the south, which is considered obligatory by the municipality. There is also another small yard on the north of the land for private use.

Ft out of that we have selected 1,50,00 Sq. Ft of area which is having more than 30 fully grown chiku trees.
