Implanted on a plot of land in Brasília, the Boutique House arises from the challenge of accommodating two generations under a single architectural gesture. The project is organized as a unique and continuous volume, which unfolds into two branches capable of offering autonomy and privacy to each family unit. Between them emerges a central elevated volume, marked by a thin and extensively horizontal slab, which houses the kitchen, living, and dining areas. It is here that life unfolds, in the space where the daily rituals of coexistence are concentrated.

Architecture is often presented as the visible expression of its time, its desires, its faith in progress, its idea of order. Yet this reading tends to flatten the conditions under which buildings are produced. It suggests that architecture follows history when, in many cases, it actively participates in it. Few periods make this more evident than the twentieth century, when architecture became deeply entangled with political programs, economic systems, and competing visions of how collective life should be organized.

The project of House Seventeen emerged from the proposal to renovate an existing building, with the main objective being to redistribute the spaces to meet the clients' program requirements while retaining the original structure. The proposed program distributes the rooms through an "L"-shaped floor plan, where the private area is concentrated on one side of the house and the social area is spread along the opposite side, extending along the length of the site. The service area is concentrated at the front of the house, shielded from external visibility by slatted panels of natural wood.

In the south of France, a 40-minute drive east of Montpellier, lies the otherworldly resort town of La Grande Motte. Named after a nearby sand dune, the city is characterized by futuristic, pyramid-shaped apartment blocks in various relief forms, adorned with diverse vegetation including pines, planes, olives, poplars, and cypresses. Artists Charly Broyez and Laurent Kronental describe this unique character as "a fairy-tale vision of a land emerging from the uncharted territories of our psyche, loaded with memories, images, sounds, colors, history." Through their meticulous images, they reveal the city's distinctive architecture.

The first home of a couple, Apartment 114S received a renovation project signed by the Brasília office BLOCO Arquitetos, founded by partners Daniel Mangabeira, Henrique Coutinho, and Matheus Seco. The residents’ goal was to transform the apartment into a gathering place for family and friends. With this premise, the three-bedroom property was completely remodeled, creating a large social area with only one suite for the couple. Located in Superquadra 114 in Asa Sul, Brasília, the apartment had its social area expanded, and the kitchen integrated into the living room.
