The residence is an intricate play of design and function that found its inception in the client’s passion to create a home for three generations of his family. The client’s mandate was simple and humble; a concrete residence where all spaces remain interconnected like one’s family but also embodies the client’s appreciation of art and design. The project is conceptualized as an inward-looking house where the plan opens at the inner core with a triple-height courtyard and is an extensive exploration of concrete and art.

The terracotta house stands like a warm oasis in conversation with its neighbor- Gupta residence. The house exemplifies a relationship between neutral grey concrete and earthy terracotta. Terracotta tiles wrap the façade to mystify the lives within, and create a harmonious world outside with a walkway and lush greens. The residents of this abode are a family of five across three generations.

Dubai-based architecture firm Znera Space have released "The Smog Project," a design to clean the air in Delhi, one of the world's most polluted cities. Shortlisted in the World Architecture Festival's Experimental Project Category, the Smog Project hopes to address Delhi’s noxious air quality by adding a network of smog filtering towers throughout the entire city. India's capital has become known for toxic smog levels from overcrowding and industrial waste. Znera's proposal hopes to cleanse the smog chamber and generate smog free air.
