For this reason, in this project, the creative process does not revolve around the bread and its imaginary, but around its origin. With this idea, we create a beautiful, warm, and pleasant atmosphere, a new environment for the buyer. The bread and the products will complete the space giving the connotations of a bakery.

Our client proposes an Asian restaurant in which the protagonist is going to be raw fish, in its different versions. He also wants a relaxed, warm, and unique atmosphere. The place is located in the Sardinero área within the city of Santander with beautiful views of the "La Segunda" beach. One of the most emblematic areas of the city, where the sea and the beach are the main characters.

In the historical Tercio y Terol suburb, located in the Madrid neighborhood of San Isidro in Carabanchel, a home is intervened to become a multidisciplinary workshop for a multifaceted client. The reduced dimensions of the workspace should boost the creative development activities, such as writing, painting, or meditation. A place where having enough, and not more than necessary, is the key to fostering the creative environment.

The project includes a refurbishment of an existing building and the creation of new construction to complete the program of this particular house. The existing building is annexed to a larger building and separated from it by a large covered passageway. Although it was used as a dwelling, it was originally a stable for livestock, and this is reflected in its simple, unpretentious architecture and a very basic construction system, based on load-bearing walls and a roof of wooden beams covered by tiles.

The project consists of building a house inside of a house, which means that it is more similar to the process of building a single-family house than an interior rehabilitation. This is because it has its own structure, enclosures, and installations. In its original state was an open loft located in the center of Madrid, built in the late XX century. The structure is load-bearing walls and a structure of wooden pillars and a horizontal structure made by Catalan vault system. The concept of the project was to generate 10 horizontal structures in different heights embracing different functions -that meet the costumer’s needs- above and beneath them depending on its height.
