The project is located in the Italian-style district of Tianjin, where century-old Italian architectural clusters characterized by red bricks stand. The original site of Tianjin Zhongshuge was a modern building that detached from the surrounding classical context. The reconstruction demands an integrated consideration of architecture and interior design, fitting into the cultural atmosphere of the district. Red bricks, as an important constructive material in Italian classical architecture, have become a necessary design element for this project.

Designing a cross-brand space is not simply about mixing features of two brands together. The designer integrated cultural aspects of both brands together organically, using humane sentiments of the bookstore to elevate brand value of the entertainment space, at the same time maximizing both spaces’ social features to bring customers a different experience.

Pushthe glass curtain door open, the unique C-shape bookshelves with a natural walnut color will be in front of your eyes. The seemingly irregular sequence builds the intimacy of the space and becomes ahighlight in the front hall. Theinspiration exactly comes from gray tile with a historical sense. The unique and lively arc shape blazes a new trail and subtly divides the forum area. Walking through under the bookshelf is like walking alongside an outdoor eave, or stepping into a rolling mountain. Stepping into the reading space, one could perceive the scenery images different from traditional bookstores and the profound cultural heritage. The bookshelves extend from the space to the adjacent columns, andingeniously catch the readers' curiosity and guide their route.

Passing through the viaduct, you will see the familiar curtain wall of Zhongshuge in the middle of the central building within the park. The curtain wall made of text combinations welcomes people coming and going with knowledge as always. Entering into Zhongshuge on the third floor by elevator, your attention will be overtaken by the delicate black book wall and groups of peg-top bookshelves under the soft light. The white spinning top, in the black and silent context, stands still in the shining cloud, but also seems as if in dancing.

When we designed bookstores we intended to make reading pleasant and educational, and to turn children's reading area into an amusement park-like place. This time we are designing a real indoor amusement park. Neobio Family Park is located within two European buildings in Building 5, Shopping Street of MinhangXinghewan, Lane 3788, Duhui Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. It is divided into Reading Area, Dinning Area, Sims City, Climbing Area and Party Room. Entering the main entrance, we are surrounded by wavy forests and rolling hills, which are book shelves of the reading area and are the best place for kids to play hide-and-seek. Every tree hole is an exclusive small world for the children. We use small forests and hills to create a free and relaxing reading area where kids feel close to nature. By the window near the forest a leisure reading area for parents is designed.
