Qingpu Vehicle Inspection Station / Wuyang Architecture

The project is located in the Qingpu Industrial Zone. It was originally an old electronic factory. The building has been renovated and repurposed to house the Qingpu Vehicle Inspection and Repair Station, as well as office space for Yinke New Energy Technology Company.

Fengpu Elementary School / Wuyang Architecture

Fengpu Elementary School is located on the west side of Fengxian New City, a suburb of Shanghai. The site was part of the industrial district in past decades, which now is transformed into a new residential area in Fengxian New City. There is a hundreds-years ginkgo tree within the site and a small pseudo-classic building built in the 1970s. As another project parallel to the school, they are enclosed by a new fence wall, also with a pseudo-classic style, and stay in the school as a kind of enclave.

Zhujiajiao Tourist Center / Wuyang Architecture

Zhujiajiao Tourist Center is located on the west-north corner of Zhujiajiao old town, which is a historical conservation area in Qingpu District, Shanghai. The site is also a cross-boundary between historical area and the new town developed in the past twenty years. The context of the project, therefore, is twofold: on one hand, a local historical feature of the old town, and the spatial condition of a new urban environment on the other hand. How to respond to such a context, is the start point of design thinking for the new building.

Dongyuan New Village is located in the central zone of Lujiazui, Pudong district. It is a mix-use residential block has been built since 1980s. Besides of residential buildings, there are hotels, kindergarten, business center and cultural facilities. Surrounding by luxury commercial real estates which are growing up flowing the high-speed development of Lujiazui district, the old Dongyuan New Village is facing the pressure of gentrification and urban renewal. As parts of the renewal planning project of Dongyuan Culture Park which is leading by Lujiazui Subdistrict Office, a culture center and a community library had been built within the block of Dongyuan New Village in recent years.

Student Accommodation / Wuyang Architecture

This project is a small accommodation for female students, in the campus of the Shanghai Electronic Industry School. The site is limited by surrounding environment. To fit the condition of site, the building is designed as two blocks connected by a corridor and a courtyard.

The campus of the Shanghai Electronic Industry School is a project transformed from factory buildings which are belonging to Shanghai Shengmei Wireless Factory built in 1980s. According to regulation and design conditions, the main body of factory buildings is saved mostly, and then given new program.
