The collection of four volumes dispersed on a plot surrounded by the Valle de Bravo forest creates a house that focuses on the use of natural materials, with an emphasis on volumes with simple and clean lines. These volumes are simple and sober, creating a timeless and enduring space. Each volume responds to a different program, articulated through the different terraces and paths that make up the project. The square shape of these volumes opens up through openings that are rhythmically repeated, following a rigorous modulation that creates views towards all directions of the property.

Located within a forest about 20 minutes from the lake in Valle de Bravo, State of Mexico, the project consists of five volumes that are distributed in an area of 5,000m2 of land with the aim of accommodating the extensive architectural program with the least impact to the existing vegetation of the place, thus, instead of a large joint footprint that required the felling of several trees, the different cabins move between the gaps that naturally exist between the trees, also integrating them into the architecture at all times.

The project of this house is located in a residential neighborhood in the suburbs of the city. The land has generous views of a large ravine behind which the silhouette of Mexico City can be seen. The architectural proposal takes up the language of the modern movement that emerged in Europe in the first half of the last century, an effective architecture and geometric shapes where functionality is the main factor of the design: straight lines and monochromatic tones whose only contrast is the warmth of the wood, achieve a relaxed and perfect atmosphere to appreciate the environment.

This is a project of a multi-family housing building commissioned, promoted and built by Consorcio Ara. The proposal of Weber Architects seeks to prioritize the common areas and through its volumes, it divides the 14,000m2 land into three large courtyards. A central courtyard of around 4,000m2 with a set of benches and planters, a second one at the back that hosts the recreational area with sports courts, a playground and a park, and another one that divides the two white buildings.

The project Five Houses proposes to realize the dream of living in a forest dominated by ancient pines and lush vegetation, in a privileged place. The site is located 3 minutes from the junction of the new Toluca - Avándaro road, which includes a bicycle path. Its location is strategic, between the center of Valle de Bravo and Avandaro Golf Club, 10 minutes from the lake. For the construction of the project we took into consideration saving the largest possible number of trees in the nearly seven thousand square meters of land area, in order to respect the environment as much as possible. This, together with the use of the slope of the site, accentuates the feeling of being immersed in the forest from the built spaces.
