Mashup is all about transparency. First, there's the spot: Empty commercial premises on the ground floor of the Nantes Design School, double height and four sides glazed. Then there's the program: An insertion restaurant, bar, micro-brewery driven by Tête Haute, and insertion brewery that we don't need to present anymore in Nantes.

The Summer Shores initiative aims to create «three unusual stations», a temporary installation made of three surprising street furniture alongside the banks of the Vendée River, in Fontenay-le-Comte, France. What does it mean to be «stationary» in public space? Can it lead us to look at our surroundings with a different eye, share a moment with strangers? VOUS’s answer comes in three different ways, 3 projects: the XL Oasis, the Net Pier, and the Supertable.

Superpausée Macro Tent / Vous Architecture & Design

SuperPausée is a macro-tent, result of the superposition of two Canadian tents whose wooden structure have been replaced by steel tubes. It is an offbeat ode to camping, playing with its codes through its geometry, its apparent lightness, its minimal footprint, and its textile materiality. We spend a stay there in levitation, between starry sky and barely touched earth. Camped in a clearing accessible on foot, the SuperPausée is assembled by force of arms, without lifting motors, like a traditional tent. Each of the pieces is handy, all of them are assembled on the ground to create the structure, which then rises by simply bringing the feet together like a folding camping stool.

In the Preux district, on the edge of Saint-Herblain, France, the 1980’s identical houses line up, only distinguished by their pale colors. Carefully placed above the garage, the LRVO extension takes advantage of the orientation of the plot and extends the house toward the road, facing west.
