Twobo, a Barcelona-based architecture studio led by María Pancorbo, Alberto Twose, and Pablo Twose, presents Casa Sota la Mola. Located in Matadepera, at the foot of the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac Natural Park in Barcelona, the project was born from listening closely to the site. It seeks to blend into the characteristic red landscape, resulting in a single-colored house that merges with the terrain while balancing family life with the tranquility of nature.

In the plains of Empordà, a few kilometers from the Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries, stands Casa Tres Patis, a single-family home of 300 m² that interprets the classic archetypes of the Mediterranean villa in a contemporary language. Designed by Twobo architecture, the project is based on a central idea: to create a livable space where architecture interacts with light, wind, water, and the body.

A spot where four clear seawater coves share a place with the imposing rocky heights of the Cavall Bernat, a distinct feature in the mountains that caught the eye of painters who moved here a hundred years ago… followed by foreign tourists, and their hotels, and their apartments.

“Aigües de Vilajuïga” is a building complex that cannot be understood without the essence and presence of the water flowing under it. An underground aquifer of carbonated water that has flown non-stop since 1904. The wells and the buildings scattered in the area are the tip of a world that has never seen the light of day.

Located a few kilometers from Barcelona, Cabrera de Mar is a tourist destination overlooking the beach, a town of a few thousand inhabitants that fills up with visitors in the summer season. The project fills an urban void with a residential building, with a construction whose modern language dialogues with the architecture of the old town, even preserving an old stone wall on the basement level.
