'House Yolk' is a metaphor as an analogy for the yolk, which is a yellow internal part of an egg, that is surrounded by the white, and is rich in protein and fat. It is a small house, which is located on a large land plot, and is rich in functionality and privacy within a compact space. This 340-square-meter house is located on a very large land plot, owned by the family who plans to leave the land for inheritors and relatives in the future. The owners only need a small house since it must be only for three family members.

Located in a visually cluttered urban setting, Akamori is conceived as a calm, enclosed mass that turns inward to create its own atmosphere. The building's form is deliberately simple, a dark grey box clad in textured exposed aggregate, and is designed to screen out the unappealing context while focusing all attention inward.

Located in the serene surroundings of Khao Yai, a renowned suburban tourist destination just a three-hour drive from Bangkok, this site spans six hundred square wah. Surrounded by nature and offering stunning views of towering hills, it serves as an ideal location for a vacation villa to escape the chaos of the city and a wedding venue for intimate celebrations, providing privacy amidst an aesthetic ambiance. Due to the lower elevation of the construction site compared to its surroundings, subterranean stones must be removed to avoid the need for pile driving, with the stones repurposed as a retaining wall for the elevated construction site.

DAWN to DUSK, as the name implies, is meticulously crafted to provide customers with comprehensive services from morning until night. The establishment comprises a restaurant, cafe, bar, and a glass house for events, accompanied by a generously spacious outdoor area. The concept of 'Dawn to Dusk' is vividly expressed in both its exterior and interior design. ‘Dawn’ and ‘Dusk’ can be portrayed through the image of the Sun when it appears and disappears. On the exterior, part of the circle, representing the sun, is carved out of the brick wall, symbolizing sunrise and sunset. This incomplete circle also applies to different zones in the form of an arch.

The main design concept of French Kitsch is developed by interpreting its name, ‘French’ and ‘Kitsch.’ Apart from being a specialized French patisserie, the owner’s love for French bulldogs also comes as a brand identity, portraying a playful yet elegant image of the cafe. The design aims to enhance this image with the concept of ‘Kitsch,’ a form of art that appreciates imperfection through architectural elements and materials.

The site is an hour’s drive away through the East from Bangkok; Chachoengsao, in which the suburb’s living environment is closed to a city, many factories, and the sea (Gulf of Thailand), which produces an excessive level of soil salinity. A non-terrain land with an artificial pond is where the villa is located.

A two-story single-detached house settles in a village near Suvarnabhumi Airport, with its size of 150 square meters, located in only two-third part of 256 square meters plot. It was too small for a family with five members; a couple with two kids and grandma. The rest one-third of the land was left over with no usage; thus, it is turned into another extension house.

Limitation of this house size, which is located in an owner's existing hen farm, to fit in 340 square meters with plenty of functions requirement, was the first move to create this house. In order to reduce the size, it has to be stacked a level on top of the other into a cube space to provide a square floor plan. Not only the square-shape plans, but also pulling out and eliminate an unnecessary space would help creating a compact function together with the best utilizing all the circulation.

We, as a group of architects, used to spend our working time here in this studio for over three years. So, we found many problems during the stay, such as, direct sunlight will come through glass windows for all afternoon, it increase temperature inside the building. Moreover, the front door façade has been ruined as it was deteriorating by time.
