Bloom House – The Blossoming Home – Located in the serene land of Bảo Lâm, Lâm Đồng, Bloom House represents a harmonious blend of modernity and tradition, where every detail carries profound meaning. From the very first glance, Bloom House is captivated by its red-tiled roof, which is deeply rooted in Vietnamese tradition while perfectly suited to the tropical climate. The flowing curves of the roof, the main door, the windows, and the decorative patterns on the walls create a seamless continuity, evoking a sense of lightness and warmth, like a flower blooming amidst nature.

The house is a residence for a small family consisting of a grandmother, father, mother, and two children. It is designed in a modern architectural style that blends living spaces with nature, providing a comfortable and eco-friendly environment for the family. Every architectural detail of the house, from the façade to the interior living spaces, is meticulously crafted, ensuring harmony between aesthetics and functionality.

At "Mix," we have preserved the full canopy of trees surrounding the site, allowing them to become integral elements of the space. These majestic trees serve as living pillars, supporting fabric canopies that gently ripple in the breeze, providing shade and filtering light to create a serene and atmospheric environment. This project is not just about creative design but also about honoring and coexisting with nature. Rather than clearing the site, we meticulously adapted the architecture to embrace the existing trees.

In early 2022, we had the opportunity to work with an investor in Bao Loc, which was also the time when we clearly realized the difficulties that this land would bring. Those were long, dry, sunny days followed by endless rain from day to day. The consequence is that corrugated iron houses keep popping up around them. Although the climate is so harsh, the air here is very pleasant and cool all year round. So the problem is: “How much will the Climate like this house?”
