Situated in a distinguished urban context, Cleft House emerges as a refined architectural response to its surroundings, engaging with the city's density and scale while deeply responding to the local climate. The design leverages light, voids, and materiality as foundational elements, shaping both the spatial experience and the house's relationship to the environment. The voids are not merely aesthetic but serve as dynamic spaces that mediate between the interior and exterior, between privacy and openness, while also playing a crucial role in environmental regulation.

White Fortress House / TAEP/AAP

Embodying the architectural attributes of Northern Gulf architecture of privacy and discretion, the White Fortress is enveloped by towering, thick walls that offer protection from the harsh climate and arid surroundings, while enclosing a serene and inviting interior. The dwelling program is laid out on the ground floor and organized around patios within a rectangular walled enclave. Glazed facades in the main social area and patios are thoughtfully integrated, complementing the dwelling's traditional composition. Given the diversity of experiences, each patio or courtyard is designated with a different function; to greet, to rest, and to celebrate.

Plot 62 is a commercial project located within Shuwaikh Industrial Area, in the chamfered corner plot of 21st Street with 26th Street. This building of simple rectangular shapes, neutral tones, and raw materials, fills the existing urban volumetric gap.

Located in Sharq, Kuwait, this project represents the idea of a multifunctional canopy that acts as an urban installation for the heart of the business city center, artistically driving a new landmark and becoming a notorious place for gathering. Hosts several uses during each period of the day. Underneath, it shields the drive-in restaurant and an outdoor esplanade.

Inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula have a long-standing tradition of leaving the cities on holidays often traveling to the seaside or to the desert to set up temporary infrastructures and spend quality time with their families. The Tent residence conceptually recreates this idea of a family gathering under a lightweight and discrete shelter structure, symbolizing the importance of shade in the hot desert climate.
