The unique wetland terrain surrounding the site has been shaped by long-term erosion and sedimentation from the Qu River, nurturing a rich ecosystem of plants and animals. The extensive mudflat meadows along the shoreline offer diverse conditions for experiencing the natural wetland landscape and ecological environment. Scattered across the shore are ancient cave sites, where man-made structures blend organically with nature, exuding a sense of history and mystery.

The core concept behind the design of the likeuu Concept Exploration Center is deeply rooted in the exploration of adolescent personality development and its characteristics. Drawing from Nietzsche's belief that adolescence is a crucial period for forming an independent personality and self-awareness, the center's design encourages teenagers to explore, experience, and question their identity and the world around them. The space design is a projection of this "ideal personality" trait and, through a multi-sensory experience involving visual and tactile elements, aims to help teenagers connect with their environment, sparking their curiosity and deep thinking about the relationship between appearance and essence.

The Hakka population, primarily engaged in agriculture in the plains, contributes to the area's diverse cultural landscape.

It is the second phase of the Qinchang Village CPC Center Complex. While Phase I on the west side accommodates mostly non-profit community services programs and ceremonial spaces, the east side focuses on the introduction of small local businesses as well as cultural and recreational programs, including a store selling local farm produce and handicrafts souvenirs, a small café, a restaurant, a gallery as well as a children’s library. The space here is both a medium and a “generator” to create potential employment and start-up business opportunities for the villagers, exploring an “innovative and sustainable" model of the economic and cultural revitalization of the rural communities.

The exhibition consists of two sections: "FASHIONED FROM NATURE" curated by the V&A Museum and Design Society narrates the complex relationship between fashion specific to human society and nature since the 16th century, with reflections as well as an emphasis on environmental sensitivity and preservations, while the FASHIONED FROM NATURE IN CHINA: THEN AND NOW Section is an echo to the theme in the east.

In cities or villages, regardless of where we live, mortality is the destiny shared by us all. When its inevitability is a given, how do we handle death? Aside from the ancient traditions and rituals, what are our alternative options in terms of commemorating and perceiving death - whether it is the passing of our beloved ones, or the end of our own journey of life? Bearing these queries in mind, we have started the design of the Memorial Hall at Longshan Cemetery and continued to seek for the answers throughout.
