Flat Point, a living design brand that adds a touch of uniqueness to customers' spaces with its minimalist design approach, has relocated and expanded its showroom from Samseong-dong to a two-story space in Seongsu-dong. The new Seongsu-dong showroom set slightly back from the bustling main street, allows for a slower, more reflective atmosphere. Spanning around 660 square meters, the L-shaped building connects two former factories, featuring rough finishes on its facade and an outdoor staircase leading to the rooftop, capturing the essence of Seongsu-dong's industrial past.

The aim is to capture the essence of his Korean roots and the Indonesian environment through visual and gustatory experiences. The project was a collaboration between Indonesian architectural firms Studio Terasu and FFFAAARRR, and Korean design studio stof.
The space flourishes and becomes clear and rich when various elements within it establish relationships and are visualized. While subjective, finding the expected comfort in places commonly referred to as large cafes can be challenging when visited in person. This difficulty stems from the absence of relationships among elements in the space and the lack of purpose.

PONT, a roastery company that successfully settled in the center of Seoul in a short period of time, opened its second showroom in Mullae-dong, one of the oldest factory areas in Seoul. Due to changes in the Korean industry, buildings in the area, which were filled with factories, are being emptied one by one, and instead young artists have begun to take over. The space, which connects five abandoned ironworks, contains programs such as cafes, showrooms, rosters, and coffee-related seminars.

Among the traditional houses inside the old alley, a Korean design studio [stof] designed a coffee showroom by reinterpreting the hanok in a modern way. Insa-dong, which is one of the most historic town in Seoul, known for galleries with long history, craftsmen as well as tea places. [Cerulean] was to use hanok, a Korean traditional house style, alongside the mood of the surroundings. [stof] tried to focus the brand on coffee and people, while the space fills the gap in between.
