At Bar Kar, an immersive wood-fired restaurant that revolves around the concept of primordial community cooking, the journey begins at the main entrance, where guests are greeted by a distorted arch, evoking the ambiance of a cave-like space. Inside, patrons get immersed in an infinite firewood-lined pathway that leads toward the heart of the establishment.

Coach Airways invites travelers on an immersive journey back in time as they step into the revamped interiors of a once-abandoned Boeing 747 jumbo jet. Designed by Coach NY together with local architect Spacemen, the plane’s design pays homage to the illustrious golden era of air travel in the 1970s, weaving in elements of retro-futurism for a one-of-a-kind experience. The aircraft houses four experiential cabins with design cues and a color palette that would look perfectly at home in a Wes Anderson movie set.

Spacemen has designed the latest flagship for Braun Buffel, the first in a series of conceptual spaces entitled ‘Urban Bloom’. Conceived somewhere between a gallery and a laboratory, the brief called for a concept with the visual impact to draw people into the store with the intention to experiment with human interest taking precedence over design intention.

During the design process for their third store, the client’s research team en route to one of their tea plantations were so captivated by the serene beauty and picturesque sceneries of the endless tea fields that they sought to embody that charm into the store identity. Thus Spacemen drew inspiration from nature and through a series of undulating planes in varies shades of gold, reinterpreted the topography of those iconic green hills into an abstract design language for the restaurant.
