Among the architectural programs most rigidly defined by function, dental clinics rank among the most demanding — bound by hygiene standards, clinical circulation requirements, and the psychological weight patients carry before even stepping through the door. Bangkok-based architecture and interior design studio space+craft confronts these constraints head-on. Within a mere 37 square metres, Resmile Dental Wellness is not simply a clinic. It is a deliberate interrogation of what healthcare architecture can — and should — feel like.

Two years after its launch as a community cafe in Sammakorn, Early BKK expands with a second branch at My Paws Backyard Dog Park in the quiet Soi Yuyen, away from the bustling Pradimanutham street, and outskirt area of Bangkok. Committed to its values of operating with environmental awareness, Early Yuyen aims to provide a new communal space for families and pet lovers. The project began with the question: "How far can circular strategies be implemented in a new cafe?"

Early BKK started with a strong intention and passion of Kaytita Chaisuksiri, to create a community café with truly green and sustainable concepts in her neighborhood. She found a site location in her village which is a strong living community in Bangkok. In this community, mostly big families with all generations including pets, therefore Early BKK aimed to be a tangible space that can be accessible to all. Unlike most of the café and retail businesses which always think about making profits. Early BKK, on the other hand, thinks about how to introduce recycling and green concept and lifestyle to the visitors and neighbors. Seeing many problems arising with regard to waste management these days, upcycling materials that have been overlooked are taken to important parts of the design.

Rise Coffee was founded by Kasidis Laoboonmee in 2020. He aimed to make specialty coffee more accessible for everyone under his concept, “#RISEwithTHEPEOPLE”. He believes that “coffee-for-everyday” should be fast-paced and dynamic to fit with city people's lifestyle while the coffee quality and outstanding services should not be compensated. They established RISE LAB, a group of micro coffee roasters who worked closely with local farmers to ensure the best quality of the green bean. They explored new roasting approaches and created their own best quality coffee profile to deliver at their coffee bar.
