At the same time, incorporating YOUWEI's narrative into the space, enabling the brand's identity extend naturally throughout the store.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Located in a resort on the outskirts of <a href="/tag/guangzhou">Guangzhou</a>, the Levitated Curtain is an iconic building for wedding ceremonies and public events. In Guangzhou, weddings usually start at 7 am, but the ceremony only begins around 6 pm, then Xi Hall will serve as a multifunctional space for dining, photo shooting, reception, and several other purposes during the day, and becomes a sacred place for the wedding ceremony at nightfall. When there are no weddings, Xi Hall which sits in the center of the resort will be a perfect location for sightseeing and allow public events for different occasions.</p>]]>

The existing building have two three story building adjacent to one another and a individual room on the side. We decided to make the individual room separated from normal hostel program wise, and become a flexible space with possibilities. Meanwhile we connect the tow three story building on ground floor, and thus creates a public open space, together with the separated room, they bring littlenap a unique flexibility.</p>]]>

The original site owns multiple disadvantage, for instance, a basement shaft blocked almost 1/3 of the storefront; the store front is recessed from the architecture facade; the full height interior window is not facing a very pleasant view. Instead of simply hiding all these disadvantages, we try to use them and connect them with a simple concept —— a gradually disclosed sense of ritual.</p>]]>
