Located within the dense residential fabric of Surat, Veiled Void is a multigenerational townhouse organised around a central void. In response to narrow plots, close proximities, and the absence of open space, the house turns inward. Habitable spaces are arranged in an L-shaped configuration around a vertically carved core that operates simultaneously as a light well, a ventilation shaft, and a social centre.

Balkash is a small rural village of approximately 200 families located in the northern city limits of Surat. The village settlement originates around a lake, with two linear streets lined by rows of traditional pitched-roof tropical houses leading to the surrounding farmlands. Proximity to the sea and a high groundwater table allow for the cultivation of crops such as sugarcane, paddy, and coconut plantations. The people here lead an austere life with simplistic ideals and an affinity to nature.

Set amidst a coastal landscape on the Arabian Sea, Red Vessel / laal Jahaaz (Hindi) is a hotel annex about an hour's drive from Surat city in Gujarat, India. The context comprises sparse rural settlements, diverse flora marked with palms, and coconut trees with an omnipresent sea breeze. The design intervention is part of a larger resort master plan that caters to recreational and socio-cultural events. It has a small water park with swimming pools, a children's play garden, congregation lawns, and an existing hotel building housing 35 rooms.
