The Beato Convent, located in the eastern part of Lisbon, originated from a small 15th-century hermitage, which would later make way for a convent that played a significant role in the city's religious, social, and economic life.

The dozen or so buildings that make up the Convento do Beato complex date from a number of different eras. They include the old church, what remains of the old convent, and several buildings constructed mainly for industrial use in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The convent’s original cloister, chapter room, refectory, staircase, and library have all survived and have been used as an Events Centre for several years now.

Riverside Walk in Seixal / RISCO

The project site is a 2.1-hectare strip of land running parallel to the riverside avenue in Seixal, the main town of the municipality of Seixal, on the south bank of the Tagus River, across from Lisbon. The site is bordered by the river and the town’s historical center, whose buildings have symbolic and morphological characteristics that make it a unique asset in terms of heritage and culture.

The expansion of Hospital da Luz in Lisbon does not involve constructing a new building within the Hospital’s complex, but rather a physical expansion of the existing structure. The nature of the program implies a complete integration since the intention is not to create new services, but to expand, restructure and innovate those that are already offered.

The new premises for the Portuguese Football Federation, called Cidade do Futebol (Football City), result from a decision to join all of the institution’s activities in a single facility, namely, its headquarters, logistics centre and the new football technical centre, aimed to accommodate the seventeen national team’s training camps and work. The Cidade do Futebol is located in the Jamor National Sports Complex, west of the National Stadium, on a plot measuring approximately 7 hectares, surrounded by primary access roads to the city of Lisbon. The land measures approximately 370m long (extending north / south) and 220m wide (extending east /west) and there is a substantial gradient between the outermost edges (about 20m), which complicated the placement of the playing fields.
