        <![CDATA[<p>The former Bank of Thailand Northeastern region office, built in the modern age, is in the Khonkaen city center which is surrounded by the school, market, community area, and residential area.  The building has its unique characteristic with a waffle slab roof and cantilever floor the grid modular is obviously shown in this building. The existing consist of an office building, staff residence, and demolished banknote department. After The Bank had been moved to the new place, this building is intended to transform its function to serve people in the city. The renovation intends to turn to be The Treasury Museum Khonkaen which consists of a museum building, gallery space, multi-purpose pavilion, public park, and office that can support many activities for people. The design keeps the unique character of the modern era while adjusting some elements to make it match the new function. </p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Fire Trade office is a 6-floors office building located in the suburban area of Bangkok, Thailand. The building is surrounded by a low-density residential area with plenty of open space. Fire Trade Engineering is the company that sells Fire-protection and life safety systems in the building, thus the client emphasis on efficiency and engineering aspect of the building. 1st floor of the building consisted of a parking area, mechanical room, and other service functions. The 2nd floor, comprised of a large semi-outdoor terrace that led to the reception area. From the 3rd floor to the 6th floor, the typical plan of the office can be divided into 3 sections, the core, the semi-outdoor transition area, and the flexible open planning office.</p>]]>

Instead of creating a huge building, we decided to break it into 3 buildings, an auditorium building, a parking building, and an office building which arranged by approaching of users. The building alignment also follows the existing master plan which is diagonal grid creating a triangle court in the middle of them act like a gathering place for all and for more benefit on other physical reason such as to gain natural light in the building. The separating of three big buildings also helps to separate users and traffic circulation clearly.</p>]]>

As a regional office of Northeastern part of Thailand, the building represents the local characteristic through design. The beautiful local landscape, ‘Field, Water, and Hill,’ of the Northeastern region inspired the design layout of this building. Unique elements from this region are used as an aspect of the design for this project. In order to create a superior entrance, the main entrance hall and drop-off were raised up a level, leaving the ground floor parking and other services.</p>]]>
