According to OIII Architecten the starting point for this design was scale, creating a harmony not dependent on difference in scale but in how a larger scaled building could connect to the surrounding smaller building through textures and details.

The new building for the high school replaces a former auditorium, adding a significant amount of learning area. It smoothly curls between the existing main building and is connected by the atrium, the auditorium and on the upper level the biology, physics and chemistry classes. Key issues for this task were a healthy indoor climate, inviting architecture and an optimum integration in the green surroundings. More photographs and drawings following the break.

The De Ronding residential facility for seniors naturally incorporates itself within the surrounding residential neighborhood. The new apartment complex on the Burgemeester Meslaan continues the existing park-like feel, complimenting the Riverland Foundation care center buildings.
