The design approach seems to focus on creating a seamless integration between the interior and exterior spaces, with an emphasis on spatial fluidity and visual continuity. The elongated plan of the residence likely informed the layout, fostering a sense of openness while minimizing abrupt divisions between functional zones. The use of neutral tones for the background palette effectively establishes a restrained architectural canvas, allowing for the functional compositions to be articulated through the juxtaposition of contrasting textures, colors, and materials.

The Tbilisi apartment is designed to offer a balance of comfort, aesthetic sophistication, and adaptability. Spanning 170 m², the goal was to create a space where the overall design serves as a versatile backdrop, allowing the apartment to shift in character depending on the residents' needs and moods. This is achieved through a carefully chosen combination of materials, colors, and furnishings that can easily be updated or changed, giving the space both functional and visual flexibility.

The project area is located in the village of Artana at the foot of the Caucasus mountains. This breathtaking view of the Caucasus became the landmark of a residential house. Our goal was to make the exterior as a part of the interior, so that the volume is towards the main entrance. There was arranged a verdant island in front of the building and a garage next to the house. On the rest of the Northern part of the territory there is vineyard.

The space that captures you, the place where you lose the sense of time, the atmosphere that makes you calm, it’s Vineria, wine cellar in the central part of Old Tbilisi. From a chaotic, busy street we suddenly get into the space that is completely isolated from the city, street, people, noise and creates its own world.
