In a town with such a rich winemaking tradition as Binissalem, this project was approached much like the process of producing a wine—encompassing all its stages, from the harvest, destemming, crushing, and pressing, to letting it ferment until the prized wine is achieved. Throughout this process, by studying and gathering historical information about both the house itself and its surroundings, we broke down the key elements of the project, identifying three coexisting worlds.

In Sa Pobla, we find this single-family house, built on an elongated plot between party walls. The house has two floors and a large patio with a garden and pool.

Located on the same street of the church of Muro, Mallorca, a three-story house with a marès façade emerges that, overall, present great potential. The interior is characterized by a neutral palette of colors, predominantly beige, brown and orange, which gain life when sunlight highlights the stone of the walls and wood of the floors.

Although the beginnings of the study are in the city of Barcelona, while we were studying at the school of architecture, Nora's choir and roots have a strong base in Mallorca. After many years in Muro, a town for which we are grateful for the multiple opportunities it has given us during our early years, we are presented with the possibility of designing a new space to continue developing our activity. We take on this challenge with great enthusiasm since we firmly believe that the workspace must be inspiring for its inhabitants and the people visiting us.

Vents House / NØRA studio

Located in Sa Pobla, Mallorca, in an area known as "es Raiguer" the project is a newly built house for a family. With the Serra de Tramuntana as a spectator, we proposed a house in which dialogue with the environment, the use of natural materials, and good orientation, both solar and with the prevailing winds in the area, are key elements. The project seeks to recognize some aspects of traditional construction, such as sloping roofs, the use of earthy materials, and the typology of the holes, and take them to the extreme to achieve a house in consonance with current needs and way of life.

GOMotor Store / NORA studio

Between the cities of Reus and Tarragona there is GOMotor, a second-hand vehicle shop with an exhibition center, located in an area of 6600m². The project seeks to display a high stock of vehicles in the most visual way possible. Due to their number, it is necessary to see them in a row, but the parallel arrangement would only show us the cars from the front. Parked diagonally, however, we can quickly capture its overall picture. For this reason, the obliquity of the parking lots is taken as the norm and a grid of axes in three directions is established instead of a classic orthogonal grid. On top of the triangulation, a structural system is developed that spans the project area while adapting to each part of the program.

This intervention attempts to give new life to an old penthouse, formerly used as the water deposit of the building. The primary idea was to accumulate the different activities the place could house into the minimum number of spaces, as well as connecting as much as possible the main activities to the terrace, which is almost as big as this one.
