Only a few years have passed since butcher shops began to take an interest in aesthetics and design beyond the meat they offered, so that their product would align with the retail space and offer a fuller shopping experience. For us, space is shaped and inhabited by all the senses. Therefore, besides what one sees, we were also interested in all the textures and the feel of our materials.

The plot is located above Ververonda Bay in Porto Heli, offering views of the Argolic Gulf, the eastern coast of the Peloponnese, and Spetses. It is an elongated, small, relatively flat plot with a steep slope only on the west side, surrounded by a pine forest. According to the client's requests, the plot needed to accommodate four independent residences, some of which could be connected to form three, and eventually, perhaps, a single house in the future. The program was complex, but this kind of complexity can often lead to creative solutions.

A house of 250m2 for a young family in an almost rural area part of Athens Paiania, was designed in a plot of 500m2. As the first house that was going to be built in this new suburb, but not the last we had to consider future developments but start from an almost white paper. Nevertheless due to crisis new developments are not due to appear any time soon.

“Urban stripes” is an apartment building or a “polykatoikia” as it is commonly known in Greece this type of building. It is located at Koukaki a neighborhood in the centre of Athens very close to the new museum of Acropolis by Bernard Tschumi and the old beer factory “Fix” by Zenetos an influential Greek architect of the last century. The neighborhood is mostly residential, built during the 60’s and 70’s with the typology of the “polykatoikia”

'Guru Bar' was one of the first bars to open in the central area of Psiri in Athens at a time when the neighbourhood was beginning to be transformed into a vibrant cultural area. The rebuilding of the district was intended to be a model example of urban regeneration in the period running up to and after the Olympic games however this was not to be. Although much promoted by local politicians, funding and political will dried up and these intentions for the old centre of Athens followed another route becoming progressively and unfortunately worse.
