Located in the heart of Pointe-Saint-Charles, a historic industrial neighborhood in Montreal, Kopa establishes itself as a premier destination for community and indoor racket sports. Occupying a freestanding, single-story industrial building of roughly 20,000 square feet, the project required a significant structural intervention to adapt the existing envelope to the precise dimensions of modern athletic courts. The design response directly embraces the raw scale of the original architecture, orchestrating a sharp, intentional contrast between an immersive, high-volume sports arena and a sequence of intimate, deeply saturated hospitality zones.

Muni is an indoor golf club designed to offer an immersive and social experience. The Nordelec, a vast industrial heritage building dating back to 1913, provides an impressive backdrop for this unique venue. Its brick-clad façade and expansive windows set the stage for an interior where exposed concrete floors, structural steel, and raw brick walls maintain the industrial character of the space while contrasting with warm, refined interventions.

For over 15 years, Piatti has been a culinary institution on the North Shore of Montreal. Located in what was once a small ancient stone residence, the building was extended a few decades ago to accommodate a larger commercial space. Over a year ago, the reputable Italian restaurant has fallen victim to a devastating fire, damaging the majority of the roof structure and interior. However, from this tragedy rose the opportunity to give the space a much needed facelift.

M.A.D. Collectif (Mode, Arts et Divertissements) is a Montreal-based creative studio that has been organizing fashion, art, and design-related events worldwide for over 20 years. In 2022, the collective has been working to rethink its entire approach towards its industry, starting with a complete rebrand (previously Groupe Sensation Mode) as well as new office spaces for its team. They ultimately found a 3600sf space on the ground floor of a two-story building in the heart of the Village, one of the liveliest boroughs of Montreal. The objective for the new location was to focus on creativity and collaboration and for it to be used not only by their team internally, but also by their multiple partners and collaborators – a flexible space made for sharing ideas and working together. This place was also seen as a great opportunity to put forward local artists and artisans. Meant for more than a simple office space and photo studio, it had to be able to host occasional events, exhibits, and pop-up shops.

Located at the corner of one of the most dynamic commercial streets in Montreal, Café Chez Teta combines under one roof the traditions of Lebanese cuisine with the flavors and quality of a new third-wave café. A simple material palette merges the comfort of Lebanese design with a minimalist aesthetic. The space simultaneously projects the warm ambiance of a grandmother's home (*Teta means grandmother in Arabic) as well as the energy of a typical Montreal café. With large windows covering both main facades, the room is filled with natural light for the majority of the day. A large sliding window behind the counter allows customers to order directly from the street, livening up the sidewalk outside.

Nestled on St-Hubert Plaza in the vibrant Rosemont neighborhood, Parade Studios has transformed a two-story industrial printer building into a dynamic hub for creativity. The renovated space seamlessly blends professional functionality with a quirky, colorful design that reflects the energy of its team and clientele. The building's façade remains largely unchanged, maintaining the charm of its commercial roots. However, the rear façade tells a different story: large openings flood the interior with natural light, particularly on the second floor, where the Parade team works. The entrance sets the tone with tiled flooring bearing the studio's name a modest yet personal touch.
