The San Carlos de Apoquindo Stadium (currently Claro Arena), inaugurated on September 4, 1988, is located in the Las Condes municipality of Santiago, Chile, on a sloping site towards the city, between the mountains and Manquehue Hill. The original design featured a partially buried configuration, with differentiated access points between the eastern side (Fouilloux) and the western side (Livingstone).

The Bizkaia tower is a building whose construction ended in 1969. It was originally intended for office use, housing the headquarters of the Bilbao Vizcaya bank. The building has an area of 30,400m2 divided into three basements and 22 floors above ground, in all a height of close to 90m.

Yashobhoomi has been conceived as a smart, mixed-use urban development project to exhibit India's growth and achievements to the world and contribute to the country's GDP growth. Combining technology, innovation, and culture, the project aims to fulfil the need for a common interaction ground between Indian and international businesses, investors, and buyers. Covering an expansive 225 acres, the complex features a thoughtfully curated mix of diverse developments. Yashobhoomi, has been completed in the project's first phase, along with two exhibition halls, parking design for 3000 cars, and site servicing. The entire project is set to be completed by 2025, including three more exhibition halls, retail centres, hotels, offices, museums, and a 20,000-seater, world-class indoor arena with India's first-of-its-kind circular retractable roof.

Aldapeta María Ikastetxea School / IDOM

The Aldapeta María Ikastetxea School, located on Aldapeta Galtzada Street in the City of San Sebastian, is situated on a privately owned plot of land on a headland called Alto de Aiete, from which there are views over La Concha Bay. The project contemplates the execution of a new 18,000 m2 school, which involves the complete substitution of the original school, which dates from the end of the 19th century. The direction in which education is heading requires new appropriate spaces to educate according to new pedagogical methods. The Colegio de Marianistas in San Sebastián aims to implement a new pedagogical model based on modern educational methodologies, in addition to a commitment to information technologies as tools to support education. For this reason, Compañía de María decided to demolish the old school in order to build a new school, adapted to the new tools, which allows maximizing the new educational practices.

Parque da Gare / IDOM

The Parque da Gare, created in the 80s, is located next to an old railway station. The derelict state it was in and the fact that it was located right in the centre of the city of Passo Fundo motivated the council to start a project for its comprehensive urban and landscape revitalization keeping some historical and natural aspects, but under a new design for the park and introducing new infrastructures. This would be the case of the farmer’s market, which would take over the one which had been running on the plot of the old station, a restaurant with an information desk included which would improve the role taken on by a small outdoor bar, a bathing and maintenance area and, lastly, a multipurpose library area located in the lowest part of the park, next to the lake, fully integrated into the design.

The New Headquarters of the BioCruces Institute is a new-build building destined to house the research areas and animal facilities. The programme is distributed over 8 floors, 3 of which are basements. Above ground level, the floorplan is divided into two blocks of laboratories (North and South blocks), separated by a block of common areas on the East elevation and the communications core which is adjacent to the West façade.

Lecture Building at the Alioune Diop University / IDOM

The Government of Senegal, financially assisted by the World Bank, decided to start an ambitious plan to improve several universities in the country, commissioning IDOM to carry out the project and site supervision for a new lecture room building for 1,500 students at the University of Bambey, to the West of the country. The plan includes lecture rooms for 50 and 100 students, a 500 seat lecture hall, laboratories, computer rooms and offices for the teaching body, all distributed over an enclosed built-up area of 4,200 m2 and 11,500 m2 of urbanised area.

The 58 subsidized dwellings developed by Sukia are located on the edge of a hillside in the municipality of Leioa, therefore having great visibility in the surroundings. The Masterplan defined a base that would occupy the garages level. This plinth would then support, as if it were a podium, four blocks which, also dictated by the council, would have the same materials as the façade. Two of these blocks make up the development we are dealing with.
