Set within a 40-cent north-facing plot in Edamuttom, Thrissur, Louvered House stands as an exploration of how contemporary living can harmoniously coexist with the sensitivities of Kerala's tropical climate and cultural memory. Once a flourishing nutmeg plantation, the site still retains its original trees and lush greenery, weaving ecological continuity into the architectural design. To the east, the client's ancestral tharavad remains, adding another layer of heritage and familial rootedness to the project. This delicate balance of the old and the new forms the philosophical core of the residence.

Corridor House: Framing Privacy, Breathing Light. Set along the lively highway of Thrissur, the residence stands as a quiet contrast to its restless surroundings. The sloping site, constantly brushed by the rush of vehicles and rising dust, called for more than just a home it called for a sanctuary of privacy and calm. The client, an education consultant who envisioned a peaceful retreat for his family, had one clear request: a house that felt completely their own. From that single thought, the story of what would later be called the Corridor House began to unfold.

The Red Wall Residence is a wonderful paradigm of how modern architecture can harmoniously blend with the tropical environment. The design team focused on highlighting the purity of the form using rationalist features such as linear planes, volumes, and bold colors, which create visuals and spaces that integrate with natural features. The team chose a red-toned material palette comprising red stone imported from Agra to allow the building to stand out against its green backdrop. This massive, eye-catching masterpiece in reddish color puts the building in a harmonious coexistence with the nature surrounding it.

The topography of the land, the rays of the sun, and the gushing winds have created a dominant contextual parameter onto which the house has been woven.0 to 150 lvl House is a response to the client’s brief of wanting a distinctive and functional home. Rooted in simplicity and minimalism, it stands there pronouncedly and completely in harmony with its surroundings to provide the user with a house that they can call their home, blurring the boundaries between the tangible and the intangible. Despite the narrowness of the site, the interior spaces did not compromise the movement of light and air circulation. The design also took advantage of the longitudinal slope of the site via a stepped-down floor plate following the natural contours of the land, creating levels inside the house and thus the name 0 to 150 lvl.

Aham stands beautifully in the middle of lush greenery and mesmerizing natural beauty of Kerala, grabbing one's attention from very far itself with its traditional sloped roofing at different heights. The brief aims to revert to a grounded lifestyle setup through a design that captures the essence of being connected to one’s roots and values.
Set amidst Southern Kerala’s sumptuous green backdrop of rubber plantations, The Captain’s Residence, captures one’s attention right from the far access. The dwelling morally gels in its natural context with its exemplary features popping out to catch the eye’s gentle attention. We can say that the house stands as a unique representation of tropical adaptiveness wrapped in modernist contemporary design outlook. Our client Mr. Jerin Zachariah, who lives abroad, wished for us to design the house as an ode to his parents. The permanent residents of the house being Capt. P.C. Zachariah, who was a former Captain in Merchant Navy and his wife Mrs. Ponnamma Zachariah. Hence the name Captain’s Residence.
