After living for many years in a spacious house, the owner decided to move to a smaller space after starting to live alone. The new home needed to reflect her journey and preserve memories created in her former residence. Meaningful elements from her old home were integrated into the apartment, such as the arches on the living room ceiling. Inspired by the arches on the facade of the former house, which let in natural light, the architects created new illuminated arches in the ceiling of the living room, the heart of family life.
