Wooden Parking Garage Wendlingen / herrmann+bosch architekten

Designed by the Stuttgart-based firm herrmann+bosch architekten, this parking garage sets new standards in multiple aspects, combining high standards for design, user-friendliness, and sustainability. The parking garage is located on an important pedestrian axis between the planned OTTO quarter, which is being created from the industrial monument of the former Heinrich Otto & Söhne weaving mill, and the Wendlingen train station. With 349 parking spaces on 5 levels, it replaces the existing parking spaces on the "Behr-Areal". It also promotes environmentally friendly mobility thanks to its convenient location near the train station, numerous e-charging stations for cars and e-bikes and secure parking facilities for 200 bicycles. Thanks to its Park+Ride function, the multi-storey parking lot also helps to relieve traffic congestion for the entire Stuttgart region.

The new ice skating center is located right in the middel of the sport - and recreation area of the Waldau in Stuttgart, Germany. The project developed in some steps. As there has been an unclosed ice skating complex closed to a small building for technic now it isdeveloped to a big covered ice skating hall and a smaller closed and ventilated ice skating hall with a service building in between.

The green area visible in the historical city map of Laupheim from "Herrenmahd" to "Laubert" and the Rabenstrasse is a very perfect connection between the city downtown and the landscape. This concept of the "connecting Landscape" is the important idea and is defined new in some frames.

The Municipality of Stuttgart intended to build a roof for the skaterpark placed at the Friedhofstreet in the north of Stuttgart, which was constructed in 2008. They wanted to protect the excisting apartment house in south-west an the projected apartment building on the ground of the Auto-Staiger Car sale from the extremly noise of the skatepark.
