Adult and sculptural trees fill the central portion of this 14,000 m² plot of land in the Fazenda Boa Vista condominium, in the countryside of São Paulo. The drop, which at first glance is delicate, assumes important proportions when we consider the entire extension of the territory.

The design of this house in a gated community in the interior of São Paulo was based on the principles of taking advantage of the views of the land to the lush vegetation in the surroundings and the integration between the construction and the external area of the lot.

Social areas on the first floor, garage in the basement and bedrooms upstairs. A veranda and a swimming pool. The explanation of the basic program of this residence and its distribution as that of an ordinary sobrado is unable to properly depict it without describing its structural conception. A sequence of four porticos hang over the upper floor volume, making the first floor only a light glass enclosure.

Subtraction House / FGMF

The Casa Subtração is located in the high-end residential condominium Quinta da Baroneza, in Bragança Paulista, just 90 kilometers from the city of São Paulo. The residence, designed for a couple and their teenage son, was strategically implanted on a square lot, taking advantage of the slightly sloping topography and offering a generous view. The concern of the FGMF architects in preserving the visual led to the decision to excavate the ground in the central area, thus creating an underground with an illuminated courtyard, garage, and garden at street level, raising the house about the ground.

Carvalho House / FGMF

The Carvalho House is based on a very objective investigation of the organization of the program of a weekend house on a large flat plot facing a lake. Given such a special condition, the majority of spaces are composed of large glass panels, as in classical modernist houses, connecting the internal and external spaces.

Tatsuya Tanaka "Japan in Miniature" Exhibition / Tatsuya Tanaka + FGMF

The work of Japanese artist Tasuya Tanaka is a miniature universe, where every detail comes to life. His tiny sculptures stand out under the domes arranged on two curved counters that capture the gaze and allow visitors to circulate each piece. The pieces rest on rotating bases, keeping them in continuous motion. Static points of illumination create a constant transformation in the shadows of the sculptures, suggesting to the visitor a pause to contemplate the complete three-dimensionality of each work from different perspectives.

Located in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, the residence has a disruptive visual created from solutions for thermal comfort and adapted to the local topography. The name of the project pays homage to the light and privileged ventilation, which reinforces the pleasant and refreshing sensation of its semi-internal gardens thanks to the proposed architecture.

The FGMF office signs the architecture and interior design of Casa Colina, a residence located at Fazenda Boa Vista, in Porto Feliz, in the interior of São Paulo. The slight unevenness of the land was an essential inspiration for conceptualizing the project, designed in such a way that makes the most of the existing topography. The highlight is the creation of an extensive ramp that, inclined, merges with the ground, configuring an extensive garden over the house, mimicking the land from some external points of view.

Located in a residential condominium in the city of Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, the exploration of the land made by the FGMF office consists of a residence designed as Casa Sombrero, with an organization focused on itself and focused on the integration of private indoor and outdoor spaces with an abundance of transparency and relationship with Juliana Freitas' landscaping. The 1200m² plot was occupied longitudinally.

Located on Mourato Coelho street - the inspiration for its name - the Moou building is a new proposal for social integration, urbanism, and authentic design in the heart of Vila Madalena, the birthplace of the bohemian city of São Paulo. Signed by FGMF, the project has a total area of 1200m2, on land with a great natural slope, which was used in a unique way in the organization of internal spaces and in the delivery of an urban kindness to everyone who passes through the region.
