Located in San Cristóbal Tepontla, a locality adjacent to San Pedro Cholula in the Puebla Valley, Mexico, this project represents the firm's second intervention in a territory deeply defined by its productive identity. The area, recognized as one of the most important brick production centers in the region, features a singular urban landscape shaped by traditional kilns and extensive clay drying fields. The immediate context is caught between two contrasting realities: the imposing natural presence of the Zapotecas Hill—a landmark for local hiking and cycling—and the rapid growth of the Zerezotla area, driven by real estate speculation.

MoMa House is located in the Puebla Province of México, in the municipality of San Pedro Cholula. This town is one of the growing areas of the Puebla Valley, and yet, there still are many agriculture parcels, clay furnaces, factories and traditional workshops still run by local families. The clients are a young couple, who adapted very successfully to the opportunities that emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, specially working from home. That´s the reason why the architectural program shapes differently and as an alternative from the conventional living models in the Mexican real estate market.
