The Credit House project corresponds to a single-family home with a continuous facade between dividing walls, located in the Providencia district, Santiago de Chile. The surrounding neighborhood called "Barrio Italia" is made up of heritage and renovated properties with an artistic and bohemian spirit standing out. Art galleries, fashion stores, restaurants, and artist workshops are among the highlights.

The project of this small shelter is conceived as an extension of the family home in Santiago; a mini pied-à-Terre, which during the pandemic allowed the family group long hours of family reading aloud, connection with nature, and calm. In those days, Terry Pratchett led the owners to discover the importance of the cabins for the witches, as a space that defines and perpetuates the stability and transit of the cycle of life.

The Lampa Community Center project is part of the National Program for the Recovery of Neighborhoods "I Want My Neighborhood" of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, born in 2006, which seeks to promote physical and social initiatives in vulnerable sectors, which are developed through an active process of citizen participation, in which the community defines its wishes regarding the infrastructure of the neighborhood to which it belongs, which become the foundations and guidelines of the project. Our studio intervenes in this process at the design and development stage of the detailed engineering of the project proposed by the community.

This house is constructed in an area of 90.000 m2 in the middle of a great plantation of olive trees. From afar, the impressive mountain range appears. The house was designed as two independent bodies covered by a common roof, creating between them an exterior court protected from the strong climate of the zone. The principal body has two levels, in the first one is located, near the access, an opened space with kitchen, living room and dining room; towards the east is located the principal bedroom.
