Donja Reka is a settlement on the outskirts of the city of Jastrebarsko, 40 km from Zagreb, with mostly rural properties. The region of Plešivica is known for its small rural farms that, as part of their agricultural activities, are engaged in viticulture. It is a centuries-old tradition, which is preserved and passed down from generation to generation. Relying on tradition, preserving our grandfathers' values, and using ancient but modernized methods and experiences from similar regions are the way to natural wines.

The winery in Kutjevo appears as the development of a previously designed winery in Radovanci. The new building is located in the center of Kutjevo town and due to a switch from a completely natural environment to a very urban one, there has been a complete turn in the architectural design as well. A simple and clear architectural design is inspired by the traditional wine cellars and the indigenous country houses. The surrounding houses are built on concrete pedestals, which mostly remain unfinished and rough; on the other hand, the walls are made of brick that eventually gets patina and a robust appearance. By applying these principles and materials, the house attempts to fit in the main city street where it is built.

Family house for a young couple with a dog is situated in the city area where both grew up. The situation found on the site was a semi-detached house, a substitute half was to be designed. The increase in surface area was possible, but in respect for the structure and rhythm of the neighbourhood it was decided to keep the existing building outline, though the assignment programme was substantially wider.

Varaždin, a historic city in northern part of Croatia, is known for its well-preserved Baroque architecture. The narrow streets, squares and parks, facades with its ornaments contribute to the identity of the city. The house is within walking distance of downtown. One-story house with the longer side of the façade along the street, is the most popular building type in this district since the 18th Century . Such houses met the needs of the residents and were in relation to city size.

The house is designed for a young family who wanted to build a new home in greenery near the city centre. Mostly small apartment buildings in combination with some single family houses take place of old garden houses wich used to provide idyllic almost pastoral atmosphere of the area. The main requirement was to hide away from neigbours and open views and orientation to the south and greenery. By using waste brick as a facade cladding the house fits in the old and uncompleted built area of the surrounding.
