This project came about in the office commissioned by a young businessman, without children, fond of travel and modern architecture. The client challenged us to create a cinema house, literally, because he brought us as a reference a photo of a residence used as a location in a science fiction film. Challenge given, challenge accepted !! A lean needs program, very atypical, but proportional to the client's time of life, gave the premises for the design of the project. Volumetry is marked by the intersection of three volumes, which intertwine creating spaces according to their hierarchy. The plans formed by the prestressed slabs show the movement of architecture, defining the areas of permanence - seating on the balconies and gourmet space, in addition to marking the walk that circulates the main volume.

Located within a private condominium in the city of Goiânia, Casa Corten was designed to meet the needs of a young couple with their young children. The first challenge was to overcome the steep slope: for this, we sectorized the house on 3 levels, determining their respective uses: level 1 (half buried) - garage / services, level 2 (ground floor being street level) for social use + level 3 (higher) to the intimate area.

The topography, the solar orientation, the existing trees and the care with the function were the elements that helped to shape the first sketches of this project. In the definition of volumes and plans, the natural elements entered. Much of the native vegetation of the terrain was maintained, as a premise, for the launch of the architectural party. Well-resolved plans and volumes are tools that are widely used in Modernist architecture, which inspire the office with the minimum of traits giving maximum results.
