A new college in a French village: an innovative learning environment, sustainable and pedagogical. The construction of buildings dedicated to education is a unique opportunity to see architecture participate in the transmission of knowledge in a playful way. The project aimed at setting an example in terms of comfort and brightness. It has been designed to facilitate its use by the operator, in particular for access management and security. Building a place of learning is an opportunity to develop curiosity and constructive awakening in the child. As in the construction of a shack, the assembly of the materials that form the building must be easily readable by students.

CoCo architecture, representative of the project management team, was named the winner of the international competition organized by the French Embassy and the AEFE for the renovation and extension of the Lycée Français Descartes in Rabat. The project management team consists of CoCo architecture as lead contractor, Arpio architect as co-contractor, Diagonale, AcousticA, and BASE paysage. The openwork architecture, which connects directly with the tree canopy and creates a play of green spaces and patios, was particularly noteworthy at the AFEX 2023 awards. The French high school in Rabat has 200 students, from sixth grade to preparatory classes. Cramped in old buildings spread across two sites on either side of an avenue, the school launched this huge project to streamline and improve its aging facilities. The new buildings, therefore, have the dual purpose of resolving functional issues and creating a new, attractive image that contributes to France's cultural influence in Morocco.

Business incubator including co-working space, meeting rooms, economic services of the community of communes, workshops, for about 40 entrepreneurs. The territory of the Estuary community of communes is part of an approach to promote innovation, particularly in the field of renewable energy. In this context, the new business incubator had to be a showcase building, attractive to entrepreneurs, and reflecting its vocation. The programme gives pride of place to the large common areas, and the project extends this desire through its design: the offices all look out over the park, to the south, and are accessible via passageways opening onto a full-height hall, encouraging emulation.
