In the heart of Werksviertel-Mitte, Munich, close to the city center, the Wacker House creates a vibrant and flexible workplace in a unified building, capable of offering an exciting blend of offices, culture, entertainment, and shops. Expressed through a transparent building with a strong connection between the inside and outside, the Wacker House connects with the surrounding community in a permeable, lively, and engaging fashion. The architecture manifests itself as a large unifying grid structure, with a distinct curvy signature, inspired by the former rail tracks of the Werksviertel, that opens towards a common pedestrian zone in the area.

The transformation of Bellerivestrasse 36 into a contemporary, climate-friendly office building by C.F. Møller Architects is an excellent example of the firm's commitment to improving the lives of users and the planet. Located in a prime setting on the shores of Lake Zürich, this 1974 outdated office building was modernized to meet contemporary sustainability standards without sacrificing its architectural heritage. The project's most significant achievement is its integration of sustainable practices with aesthetic and social value, turning the formerly closed structure into a vibrant, energy-efficient workplace.

The new psychiatric clinic at Tampere University Hospital is designed to create a healing environment supporting patients and staff. This facility, located on the outer edge of the hospital grounds, merges with its natural surroundings to provide a peaceful, private, and therapeutic atmosphere. The project addresses the specific needs of psychiatric care by integrating flexible structures, nature, and cultural elements to enhance healing and staff well-being. The design follows a modular concept featuring three U-shaped ward buildings arranged in a semi-circle, providing 180 beds for various psychiatrical healthcare units such as an emergency unit, psychosis unit, crisis unit, outpatient clinic, somatopsychiatric unit, neuropsychiatry unit, mood unit, neuromodulation unit, substance abuse unit and psy-chosis + forensic psychiatry unit. Each ward block is organized to ensure privacy and security, offering individual patient rooms that maximize daylight and nature views, which are crucial for recovery. The wards are anchored by a centrally located administra-tive and activities building, forming an enclosed courtyard that serves as a safe and tranquil outdoor space for social interaction and recreation. This layout promotes a sense of community while respecting each patient's need for solitude and personal space.

Villa E is located in an undulating district of small, detached houses in northern Aarhus. The concept, materials, and level of detail are inspired by the iconic Aarhus University, which was also designed by C.F. Møller Architects, and today is in the Danish architectural canon. An example of the reference can be seen in the villa's basic composition consisting of four simple saddle roof houses, which together form the framework of this family home. The main architectural approach unfolds in a larger main house, which has been 'raised up' onto three smaller buildings on two levels.

Located in a large park that is open to the public, the bright and flexible office spaces come together around a spectacular atrium with features and colours inspired by the LEGO Group’s products. The individual building parts echo the scale of the surrounding LEGO facilities as well as the city of Billund, and the ensemble deliberately avoids uniformity in favour of diversity and playful twists, to reflect the multitude of options that LEGO play represents.

Kajstaden - Tall Timber Building is an important landmark for sustainable construction and a reference project that shows that conversion to climate-conscious architecture is possible. Through research projects and several active wood projects, C.F. Møller Architects has focused on innovation as well as developing and implementing multi-storey buildings with solid wood frames. In Kajstaden, an active decision was made to prioritise industrial timber techniques for the building material to influence and take responsibility for the impact of the construction industry on the environment and climate change. A crucial advantage of wood, unlike other building materials, is that the production chain for the material produces a limited amount of carbon dioxide emissions. Instead, it is part of a closed cycle, where carbon is retained in the frame of the building.

The vision is to create the learning environment of the future by designing a modern elementary school and preschool that are attractive, secure and accessible for everyone. The Tiunda School is for children from preschool to the 9th grade, and its structure is simple and robust. The brick facades are a link back to the site’s history - the old brickworks. The design of the interior reflects the structure’s simplicity and robustness and gives space for playfulness and inspiration.
