Given the growing offer of multifamily housing developments in the Tulum area, the project seeks to establish a group where the sense of community is returned. Beyond the repetition of vertically stacked repetitive products, Kiki is about belonging to the whole, where the units, although defined and independent, are understood in their relationship with each other forming an inseparable building, a porous and permeable monolith.

The design strategy of this house is based on a commitment to artisanal constructive honesty, the respect towards natural context in an urban area, and the constant search for a way of inhabiting where material austerity provides spatial quality. The main body of the house is located in the southern boundary of the land, respecting the 3 preexisting fruit trees on the north side and taking advantage of the best ventilation and natural light possible.

The project to reactivate the old Hacienda San Antonio Chable for a new hotel comprises the restoration and adaptation of the ancient buildings that make up the main settlement of the hacienda, as well as the open spaces, squares and gardens surrounding them. The hacienda, whose first records obtained date from the year 1813, began as a corn and livestock farm, and later as an henequen fiber production site.

The Ixi'im Restaurant comprises the re-use of the engine house of an old henequen farm, whose productive splendor in the second half of the 19th century and subsequent decline in the second half of the 20th century has generated new uses for our built cultural heritage. The site consists of several independent structures, including the engine room, which shape the public space or main square. A north - south axis connects, since its original use, the main set of the hacienda with other nearby settlements.
